Leider müssen wir witterungsbedingt die Veranstaltung absagen!
Liebe Linz-Triathleten!
wir müssen den Triathlon am Sonntag absagen!
Es ist einfach zu riskant wegen der Hochwasser-Situation und den drohenden Feuerwehr-Einsätzen. Nach Rücksprache mit den Feuerwehren vor ort und der Polizei sehen wir das als zu großes Risiko für die Athleten und uns als Veranstalter. Wir durchfahren mit Luftenberg und Abwinden sehr stark betroffene Gebiete nahe von kleineren Flüssen und der Donau. Leider – ist ärgerlich, aber im Sinne einer fairen und sicheren Veranstaltung die gscheiteste Lösung.
Wir werden uns, trotz dieser widrigen Wetterverhältnisse, um eine kulante Lösung für eure Startplätze bemühen. Auf jeden Fall ist eine Übertragung auf den Bewerb im kommenden Jahr (14. September 2025) überhaupt kein Problem. Ihr bekommt dazu in den nächsten Tagen noch per Email weitere Infos.

Dear Linz triathletes!
we have to cancel the triathlon on Sunday!
It is simply too risky due to the flood situation and the threat of fire brigade operations. After consultation with the local fire brigades and the police, we see this as too great a risk for the athletes and us as organisers. We are travelling through Luftenberg and Abwinden, which are very badly affected areas close to smaller rivers and the Danube. Unfortunately – it’s annoying, but in terms of a fair and safe event, it’s the smartest solution.
Despite these adverse weather conditions, we will endeavour to find an accommodating solution for your starting places. In any case, a transfer to next year’s competition (14 September 2025) is not a problem at all. You will receive further information by email in the next few days.
